The Roosevelt New Orleans, a Waldorf Astoria Collection hotel, will combine New Orleans music with a gourmet meal to celebrate moms this Mother’s Day, May 9, all in the Waldorf Astoria Ballroom.
Featured will be a live performance by the James Rivers Movement, along with gourmet entrees from executive chef Stefan Kauth and desserts by pastry chef Debbie Heyd.
“We invite guests to treat their mothers to an experience like no other in a setting like no other, at the historic Roosevelt New Orleans Hotel,” said Tod Chambers, general manager at The Roosevelt.
As guests are escorted to their tables, they will experience a feast for their eyes as they pass towering displays of food featuring seafood creations, carved meats and oysters, as well as a dessert station including Bananas Foster and strawberry shortcake.
The brunch is available from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Adult plates are $79, excluding tax and gratuity, and include valet parking, champagne and a commemorative photograph. Children between the ages of 6 and 12 are served at $19, and children under 6 years are served complimentary. Reservations can be made by calling (504) 648-1200.
