Frequently Asked Questions:

  • Anything for Vegetarians?   The egg salad and cucumber tea sandwiches as well as the scones and desserts are vegetarian options.  If any of your guests have food allergies, please indicate those to the reservationist and we will do our best to accommodate you.
  • Pictures are included for VIP tables, or available for an additional fee.
  • Can you take your own picture with Santa? Certainly, yes
  • What kind of parking is available?  The hotel offers Valet Parking at the Roosevelt Way entrance for $18.00 per car.   There are also 2 self-parking garages on Roosevelt Way on the opposite side of the hotel that will charge their own hourly rate: Premium Parking Service (504-565-5546) and Distinctive Parking (504-324-6461).
  • What is the entertainment?  The character parade throughout the room visiting with the children, and storytelling by Mrs. Claus in a grand winter wonderland.  Santa, Mrs. Claus, the Sugarplum fairy, and several additional characters such as Snowman, Rudolph, Santa’s Helpers, and the elves will be there to visit with the children.
  • Can we all sit together?  Can we sit with our friends/family?  We will be happy to seat your group together if the seats are all purchased at one time.  If not, we will seat you at the same table(s) subject to availability (i.e. you must purchase all of the seats before that seating time fills up).  Our tables can fit up to 12 guests each.  Groups larger than 12 will be seated at adjacent round tables.
  • What is the payment process?  Admission is pre-paid.  We accept credit cards at the time of phone reservation.  We accept all major credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Diner’s Club and Discover.  There is no online ordering process at this time.
  • What is the dress code?  Holiday Festive.  Most of our guests like to take this opportunity to dress up.
  • Are highchairs and booster seats available?  Yes, please indicate to the phone reservationist at the time of purchase how many highchairs or booster seats you will need, and we will do our best to have them at your table when you arrive.
  • What is the cancellation policy?  The purchase is non-refundable.  You can add guests to your reservation if capacity is available for that seating, but we cannot issue refunds.  In some cases, we are able to change your group to another seating if there is space available, but the hotel and event organizers are not responsible for inclement weather, illness, etc.  It is your responsibility to give your tickets to someone else if you are unable to use them.
