Dave Schof sent us in this gem from his visit to the Roosevelt New Orleans. He was nine months old at the time.

“Seventy years ago I was selected ‘King for a Day’ at the Roosevelt. This was a promotion for the motion picture Bachelor Mother, which was premiering at the RKO Orpheum, starring Ginger Rogers. On July 31,2009, my wife and I celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary at the Blue Room, with a one night stay in the hotel.”
