National Geographic named New Orleans one of the top 20 destinations in the world to visit in 2014, but why not visit this beloved city a month earlier?  The holidays in New Orleans is a joyful time enjoyed by the whole family.

Krewe of Jingle Parade

Steps away from The Roosevelt Hotel, New Orleans’ official holiday parade will roll down Canal Street starting at 1pm. This holiday parade enjoyed by many will include authentic parade floats, marching band and Christmas Characters.

Caroling in Jackson Square

Indulge in the holiday spirit with caroling in Jackson Square.

Sunday December 22nd | Event takes place at 7:00pm

Celebration in the Oaks

The most spectacular holiday light festival in the country!

Bonfire Adventure

Venture out into Greater New Orleans to experience a time-honored Louisiana tradition. The local community-build bonfires help light the way for Pap Noel, Cajun Santa Clause, during his Christmas Eve arrival.
